The Aprilaire Dehumidifier Hanging Kit 5822 is designed to suspend from the floor joists of your crawl space easily. With the brackets and eye bolts positioned horizontally on floor joists, this kit can safely hold a load of up to 200 pounds and works for most of Aprilaire’s units.Â

AprilAire hanging kits are designed to suspend an AprilAire dehumidifier from beam or joist in locations where floor space is at a premium or impractical to use. Elevating your dehumidifier can help improve airflow when the unit is centrally located vertically. Model 5822 is a set of brackets that attach directly to the dehumidifier. It is smaller, lighter, and more cost effective than rigid frame handing kits, and it can support all AprilAire dehumidifiers. Also can support dehumidifiers with either leveling feet or casters. Maximum load weight of 200 pounds (90.9 kg). For residential attic and crawlspace use only. Not intended for overhead use in a living/occupied space. Model 5822 includes (4) Brackets, (4) Eye Bolts, (4) 6-foot Ratchet Ropes, Installation Manual.
