Seam Tape Features

    • PREMIUM VAPOR BARRIER TAPE: 4 inch x 180 foot long roll of vapor barrier tape is designed to protect your projects in unexpected weather conditions. At 9 mil thick, the crawl space tape is highly durable, insulating, and designed to be UV resistant. Our seam tape is perfect for crawlspace encapsulations, underlayment for floating floors, marine preservation, patching and repair projects, and surface protection during outdoor projects.
    • DURABLE: Our seam tape for moisture-resistant vapor barriers has a strong adhesive for seaming and sealing plastic poly liners and vapor barriers. Vapor barrier tape is used to seal the joints and seams of materials such as plastic sheeting or foil-faced insulation. Our moisture barrier plastic tape is designed to be durable, its tight seal ensures moisture stays out, reinforcing product’s effectiveness.
    • UV RESISTANT: The UV-resistant coating on vapor barrier tape allows the product to be weather-resistant in addition to being waterproof. UV-resistant underlayment seam tape is specifically formulated to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight without deteriorating or discoloring the tape. Adverse weather conditions can put a hold on projects, but this insulation tape is ready for action, rain or shine.

    This isn’t just any tape. The quality is immediately noticeable – it’s a premium polyethylene-backed tape with a strong, aggressive adhesive that bonds seamlessly to plastic sheeting. The 4-inch width effortlessly covers overlaps, for precise, mess-free application in tight spaces, creating waterproof joints that lock out moisture and air infiltration.

    Aesthetically, the white hue matched my plastic sheeting perfectly, creating seamless, professional-looking bonds that elevate the whole setup from DIY to polished. While it is too soon to speak about its durability, you can tell it’s built to last a long time.

    This tape paired perfectly with the butyl tape from the same seller – two indispensable essentials that brought my DIY crawl space encapsulation project to a seamless finish.
